Information we do not collect

Home WiFi Doctor does not read, collect, store, or upload your WiFi password. The app does not require an account and does not collect your name, email address, phone number, or contact list.

Information used locally

The app may read and process WiFi diagnostic information on your device, including WiFi network name, signal strength, frequency band, link speed, local IP address, latency, jitter, packet loss, selected room names, generated scores, and recommendations.

This information is used to show test results, create reports, and compare before/after network changes.

Location permission

Android may require location permission before apps can read current WiFi network information. Home WiFi Doctor uses this permission only for WiFi diagnostics. The app does not track your physical location and does not upload location data.

Reports and local storage

The app may store the most recent test results and before/after comparison data locally on your device. PNG, PDF, and CSV reports are generated locally. When you share a report, it is sent only through the app or service you select in the Android share sheet.

Advertising and purchases

The free version may display ads. If Google Mobile Ads is enabled, Google and its partners may process advertising identifiers, device information, and usage data according to Google's advertising policies.

If Pro features are enabled, purchases are processed by Google Play Billing. Payment information is handled by Google Play and is not collected by Home WiFi Doctor.
